I've been using these for year to secure a kayak. Sturdy, locks firmly in place on the crossbar. Would purchase again.
I am very happy with my Rhino Vortex Aero roof rack and the cross bar load stops and fit kit. it installed fairly easily, but I did find the measurement not exactly to fit my car, but it was easily corrected. However, it did appear that the roof rack had been a return or something similar. it was not factory sealed and some of the rubber strips for the top of the rack and the measurement strips for the under side were missing. but that was easily handled, unfortunately I don't remember if this company took care of it or if I called Rhino Rack directly. I am now needing a kayak carrier possibly two to fit on my rack.
These were purchased with a set of mounts and cross bars for many uses. The clamps/bar guides RRRLH2 have been tested in use hauling ladders, heavy boards and such but not yet the canoe I planned for. The clamps are also used with rachet tie downs so the load on them is never extreme. SO far so good. However the cross bars have been maxed into sagging under load at a load level which I feel is light to medium. This is a concern and requires multiple trips for projects. The two crossbars are used with a T bar hitch mount support to carry approximately half the load. Could have been stronger.
This is a great add-on! Very easy to install. Same great materials and finish as the rest of my NV 2.0. No complaints!!
If I were to make any suggestions to the manufacturer, however, it would be to make it possible to flip the bike hook and arm to either side. The current design forces the front tire of the third bike to be on the left. There are many configurations where that might not work for people. In my case I had to swap the first and second trays of my NV in order for the spare tire on my swinging tailgate (FJ Cruiser) to open and clear the rack when empty. The only alternative would be get a hitch drop or extension, which I didn't want to do for clearance reasons, or to start shaving off the plastic on the NV's tire cradle. My solution to swap them works great, but now that I added a 3rd bike, I'm forced with the 2nd and 3rd bike facing the same direction. I've made it work, but I would love to see some thought put into making this product slightly more customizable. With so many different people having unique set-ups, I think it could really help.
These were ridiculously hard to find, but they work great and easily slide into the rhino racks. Only complaint is that some of the hardware is rusting, stang they didn't use rustproof metals. Nothing a can of rust oleum can't fix :).

Fit perfect , easy to adjust , will hold items from sliding . 100% satisfied , This is a great accessory to the roof rack for my application .
